Is Glowstore more multithreaded than the vanilla implementation? Does it use CPU more efficiently?
We don’t have any specific benchmarks on this, but currently Glowstone performs much better than vanilla does.
That said, Glowstone is not feature-complete yet - its performance may be due to this, but we do still aim to keep it performant, so it’s hard to say what the future holds.
We use a thread per world and also have worker threads for some block tick tasks and other things.
